Dia 18o: El Museo de la Reina Sofia y el Museo del Prado


Hoy nosotros visitamos tres sitios culturales de Madrid. Despues de desayunar en nuestro hotel, tomamos el metro al museo de arte moderno en Madrid, que se llamaba Reina Sofia. Alli, vimos la pintura famosa "La Guernica" por Pablo Picasso. En realidad, "La Guernica" es muy grande, y podiamos ver todos los detalles de esta pintura universal. Para almorzar, comimos en un restaurante cerca del hotel, y entonces, regresamos al hotel para tomarnos la siesta, un tiempo del dia cuando gente en Espana descansa y duerme. A las cinco y media de la tarde, fuimos al museo Prado, que tiene arte classico, incluyendo pinturas por El Greco, El Bosco, y Goya. Finalmente, terminamos el dia con una cena en el restaurante mas antiguo en todo el mundo, Botin.

Today, we visited three of Madrid's cutural sites. After eating breakfast in our hotel, we took the subway to the museum of modern art in Madrid, which was named Reina Sofia. There, we saw the famous painting "Guernica" by Pablo Picasso. In reality, "Guernica" is really big, and we were able to see all the details of this universal painting. For lunch, we ate in a restaurant near the hotel, and then we returned to the hotel to participate in siesta, the time of day when people in Spain rest and sleep. At five-thirty in the afternoon, we went to the Prado museum, which has classical art, including paintings by El Greco, El Bosco, y Goya. Finally, we ended the day with dinner at the oldest restaurant in the entire world, Botin.
