7TH DAY: HOLYDAY (Roshoshana)

A las 7 de la mañana me vino a despertar Flannery a mi habitación, me vestí, hice mi cama y bajé a desayunar. Después la madre de Flannery nos llevó hasta casa de Julia y Nerea, donde nos estaban esperando para ir a la playa. El viaje duró aproximadamente una hora y cuando salimos del coche, hacía mucho viento y frío. Cojimos las mochilas y bajamos a la playa. El agua no estaba muy fría pero como hacía mucho viento decidimos ir a otro lugar donde hiciese menos frío. Fuimos a comer a una pizzería y luego fuimos caminando hasta otra playa cercana.El agua tampoco estaba fría pero no nos bañamos. Al regresar a casa de Julia fuimos a una heladería para tomarnos unos helados y despues a un parque donde estuvimos columpiándonos. Decidimos ir al video club y alquilar una película. La madre de Julia nos llevó en coche porque quedaba muy lejos. Vimos la peli y nos despedimos porque el hermano de Flannery y su madre llegaron para recogernos. De camino a casa, paramos en una tienda de deportes para comprar 2 pares de tenis para correr que Flannery y su hermano necesitaban. Al terminar fuimos a cenar a un restaurante. Tomé quesadillas de pollo. Al volver a casa llamé a mis padres y me fui a dormir. Cecilia

At 7 o´clock in the morning Flannery came into my bedroom to wake me up. I got dressed, made my bed and went down to have breakfast. Later,Flannery's mum took us to Julia's house where they were waiting for us to go to the beach. The trip lasted around 1 hour and when we got out the car, it was windy and cold. We pick up our backpacks and went towards the beach. The water wasn't cold but the wind was so strong that we decided to go to a less cold place. We went to have lunch in a pizzeria and then, we walked to another near beach. we didn't have a bath although the water wasn't cold. when we came back home we went to an ice-cream parlour to buy some ice-cream and then we went to a park where we were swinging. We decided to go to a videoclub to hire a videotape. Julia's mother took us by car because it was far from their house. We watched the film and said goodbye to the family because Flannery's brother and her mum arrived to pick us up. On our way home, we stopped in a sport shop to buy 2 pairs of running shoes that Flannery and her brother needed. When we ended we went to a restaurant to have dinner. I tasted chicken "quesadillas". Finally, when we arrived our home, we phoned my parents and went to sleep.
