5TH DAY: NEW YORK ( UNITED NATIONS)

Hoy fuimos con nuestros hermanos americanos a la Newark Academy, donde nos reunimos en el aula de español del colegio. Mientras nuestros hermanos americanos estaban en clase, nosotros nos fuimos de excursion a New York, a visitar la ONU(Organizacion de las Naciones Unidas), donde estuvimos guiados por una chica, que nos explico en español las principales funciones de la ONU y nos enseño las instalaciones. Como teniamos tiempo hasta la hora de regresar, caminamos por New York, visitando la Estacion Central y unpequeño parque donde almorzamos (Bryant park). Luego, el autobus nos llevo hasta la escuela donde nos reunimos con nuestros hermanos americanos para volver cada uno con su familia americana.                                                                              Irene Conde

Today, we went to the Newark Academy with our American's siblings.We met the other Spanish students there, at the Spanish classroom. The American students went to their lessons and we went to New York. There, we visited the ONU and a guide explained us the main functions of the organization and showed us the building. We learned a lot about it. Then, we went into the Central Station. It was very beautiful. Before coming back to school, we went to a little park where we had lunch ( a sandwich made for our american's mothers). After that,we returned to school by bus. There we met our American siblings and went home.                        Bye Bye !
